Virtual Charity Hackathon - HOW DO WE GET THE WORD OUT !?! Can you help The Centre for Big Synergy?
Communication and networking are the keys to success and are actively practised within the Harvard community. The Centre for Big Synergy (CBS) could use your help! CBS is a Civil Society Organisation of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs. The institute champions a better future by generating awareness and inspiring action to meet the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).
The institute has been organising the Big Syn International Film Festival (BSIFF) since 2019. Being the biggest online film festival of its kind, it has so far educated over 2.5 million people in 60+ countries about the UN SDGs and spurring the audience to act on those goals. The festival has received the support of celebrity filmmakers, industry leaders, policy and sustainability thought leaders as well as academics from the UK and USA.
The HCUK Public Service Committee will be organising a Virtual Hackathon to help this international non-profit improve its marketing and generate ideas on how to spread the word to improve funding. Do you have ANY ideas, connections, networks, or the means to deliver their message to the masses?
