The Print Room is a relatively new performance space, located in a renovated 1950s warehouse in Notting Hill.  Since opening in 2010, the Print Room has staged productions ranging from theatrical plays, contemporary dance, music concerts, and art exhibitions, and last year won two Offies (Best Designer for Kingdom of Earth; Best Sound Design for Snake in the Grass), and received a nomination for the Peter Brook Empty Space Award (see www.the-print-room.org). Mimi Gilligan has been a trustee of The Print Room since its founding.

Thom Pain is a Pulitzer Prize nominated play, written by Will Eno, an American playwright who most recently won the 2012 PEN Literary Award. Dubbed “a small masterpiece” by the New York Times, Thom Pain (based on nothing) catapulted Will Eno to prominence as one of America’s most exciting and important contemporary playwrights, playing to huge acclaim in London, Edinburgh and New York, and earning him a nomination for the 2005 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.

The play stars John Light, who appeared recently in Michael Grandage’s acclaimed Luise Miller at The Donmar Warehouse and who has appeared in many roles at the RSC. John’s TV work includes Band of Brothers and Love in a Cold Climate.  The play is directed by Simon Evans, straight from his success as Associcate Director on The Duchess of Malfi at The Old Vic.
