1.  What is the Harvard Club of the United Kingdom?
The Harvard Club of the United Kingdom is a private, members-only club that operates on behalf of UK-based alumni of Harvard and Radcliffe Colleges, Harvard graduate schools, and their families.  The Club’s purpose is to provide opportunities to pursue common interests with fellow alumni in the UK. The Club is established and run independently from the Harvard Alumni Association, though strong connections to the HAA are maintained.

2.  Who is eligible to become a member of the club?
Graduates of Harvard College and the other schools of Harvard University are eligible to join.  Friend’s membership is open to those with a close connection to Harvard at the discretion of the Executive Committee.

4.  Are there designated club facilities?
HCUK does not have a clubhouse.  Club events take place at a variety of venues in London and elsewhere.  Club members may use the facilities of several other clubs in London, as explained here.

5.  What is the membership year?
Membership runs from the payment date for one year.

6.  How can I pay for membership?
Members may pay by direct debit (information available soon) or credit card.  Details are here.

9. My user ID and password do not seem to work.  What do I do?

Harvard Alumni and Students:  If you have not yet created a Post.Harvard user ID and password, please see our registration page.
If you do not remember your user ID or password, you can retrieve them using our login retrieval page.

Only Alumni, HAA Associates and current students can access their profile on this system using a post.harvard login. If you have participated in a Harvard program of less than nine weeks in residence, are a Harvard parent, are part of the Harvard faculty (current or former) or Harvard Staff, you will need to sign in as a non-alumni guest (see below).

10. How do I register for an event?
You must log in prior to registering for any events.  Once you've logged in, click on the event listing and follow the simple steps to register online.

11. How can I update my profile?
If you are a registered user of the Harvard Club of United Kingdom, website, you can access your account information by clicking on the "My Account" link at the top of the page.

12. How can I change my user ID, password and e-mail address?

13. How can I find out the events for which I registered?

   1. Click on the "My Account" link at the top of the page.
   2. Choose the "Orders" tab.
   3. See what you have purchased/ordered.


14. How can I change my RSVP guest list for an event?

   1. Click on the "My Account" link at the top of the page.
   2. Choose the "RSVP" tab.
   3. Choose the event you like and click on the corresponding "edit list" link.
   4. Change any information that you'd like.


15. Is there a tax-efficient way to donate to Harvard?

Anyone who is resident in the UK for tax purposes can make a donation to Harvard University under the Gift Aid scheme.  This is administered by JustGiving and details are at Friends of Harvard

16. Something doesn't seem to be working, what should I do?
