It is natural to be worried about various things in the current climate dominated by the coronavirus pandemic. We are bombarded with a plethora of information about new cases, new restrictions and their implications on everyday life. As uncertainty about the future grows it is important to make sure that we build up the right skills for emotional resilience to get through this winter.  Our distinguished speaker, Dr. Luana Marques will help us improve our understanding of this process and provide us with a few practical ideas about dealing with the anxieties caused by the pandemic.

Dr. Luana Marques is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School (HMS) and the Director of Community Psychiatry PRIDE at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). Dr. Marques is a national and international expert in Cognitive Behavioral Therapies (CBTs) and a leader in increasing access to scientifically rigorous mental health practices. Her decades of clinical and research experience implementing evidence-based practices encompass all types of roles and settings, from front-line staff to CEOs, diverse communities to organizations, both in the US and globally.
