Please come to the next Harvard Author’s event which will feature 3 amazing, autobiographical accounts by Harvard Alumni. The authors will each talk about the challenges, motivation and satisfaction they achieved in writing about personal struggles.

Featured:

  • Skip Sviokla who wrote

From Harvard to Hell...and Back – which chronicles his journey from being a Harvard educated doctor to a homeless addicted and then his return to sobriety and a normal life. 

  • Tom Kearney  who wrote

Death, Life and the East German Ladies’ Swimming Team – about being hit by a London bus on Oxford street and recovering from a near-death coma to take on the Mayor of London and learning how to swim outdoors all year-round.

  • Jennifer Bao Yu "Precious Jade" Jue-Steuck who wrote

Inspiration Ice Cream: Jardin de Glace, the story of how an orphan girl's passion for ice cream led to a search around the world to create the first global volunteer group created by and for the more than 150,000 adopted Chinese children growing up in 26 countries.
