Harvard Club UK and Harvard Law School Association UK

for Harvard’s Global Month of Service for April and make a difference in your community.

What:  Please sign up to help construct a forest path for a school that accommodates preschool to secondary classes and that encourages the development of children’s emotional and physical development through outdoor play, activities and exploration in a woodland classroom.

The Holland Park Ecology Unit will be providing fun-filled learning for any little ones who are interested.

Gloves, hi-viz vests and all tools will be provided and as professional grade tools will be used, training will also be provided.  Appropriate tools will be available for little ones.
Where: Forest School in Holland Park, in The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea in London.

Who:  All Harvard alumni are welcome, as well as your friends and/or families.  This volunteer event is child-friendly and littles ones are welcome as long as they are joined & supervised by adults.

When: 10.30am start – 4pm finish with a break for lunch, on Saturday, 23rd April.  Lunch will be provided.  We can accommodate certain dietary requirements with advance notice.

Dress Code: As we will be gardening, please dress appropriately, including sensible footwear, and remember to bring a hat.  We will proceed to an alternative activity indoors in the greenhouse if the weather does not cooperate.

How: Please confirm your attendance to Caroline (caroline.chang@farcap.com) andTamara (thhoward@btinternet.com).   If you intend on bringing your little ones or if any members of your party have special needs, please let us know so we can make arrangements.
