Join Christopher North, Harvard College alum (’92) and Managing Director of Amazon.co.uk, for his talk about his journey in bringing Amazon’s customer centricity, innovation and long term thinking to life in the UK. During his time at Amazon he has seen the business grow dramatically both in size and business lines. In addition to books, and then, e-books, Amazon now offers a huge range of retail products and an online ‘marketplace’ for other vendors to sell their wares. Amazon has also moved into providing devices, digital media and cloud computer services.
Chris will also reflect on how his time at Harvard prepared him for his career in publishing and in the fast paced and changing world of Amazon.
