Do something different in the New Year - spend a Saturday in Oxford.
Harvard Alumni have been invited for a tour of the much anticipated and recently opened exhibition Love is Enough: William Morris & Andy Warhol at Modern Art Oxford, led by Director Paul Hobson.
The exhibition brings together two giants of 19th and 20th century art and includes masterpieces such as Morris’s twenty-three foot long tapestry Holy Grail (completed in 1896) and Warhol’s own world famous Turquoise Marilyn (1964).
Oxford is a short journey from London, with regular trains leaving from Paddington and there will be plenty of time before the tour to see some of Oxford’s many sights and attractions. Details are included below, so please let me know if you think you will be able to attend so that I have an idea of numbers.
